As Emily walked across campus the next day, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She had been noticing strange looks from some of her classmates, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
As she approached her locker, Emily saw a piece of paper taped to the door. She ripped it off, her heart sinking as she read the words scrawled across it:
"Stay away from Liam. He's mine."
Emily's eyes scanned the hallway, but there was no one in sight. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she wondered who could have written such a malicious note.
She crumpled the paper in her hand, feeling a surge of anger. Who did this person think they were, warning her away from Liam?
As she opened her locker, Emily saw Liam standing across the hallway, his eyes fixed on her. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.
Then, without a word, Liam turned and walked away, leaving Emily feeling confused and more than a little concerned.
What was going on? And who was behind the sinister note?

Emily watched him go, her mind racing with questions. What was going on? And who was behind the sinister note?
She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She had more important things to worry about, like her upcoming exams.
But as she grabbed her books and closed her locker, Emily couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
She walked to her next class, her eyes scanning the hallway for any sign of... whatever was going on.
As she took her seat in class, Emily noticed a girl sitting across from her, staring at her with an intensity that made Emily's skin crawl.
The girl was petite, with long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Emily had seen her around campus before, but they had never spoken.
Now, as their eyes met, Emily felt a jolt of unease. There was something in the girl's gaze that seemed... malevolent.
Emily turned away, trying to focus on the lecture. But she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched.
As the class drew to a close, Emily gathered her things and stood up, her eyes scanning the room for the blonde girl.
But she was nowhere to be found.
Emily breathed a sigh of relief, telling herself she was just being paranoid.
But as she walked out of the classroom, Emily felt a hand on her shoulder, spinning her around.
It was the blonde girl, her eyes blazing with anger.
"Stay away from Liam," the girl hissed, her voice low and menacing.
Who was this girl? And what did she want with Liam?
Emily's eyes flashed with anger as she stared at the blonde girl. "Who are you?" she demanded.
The girl smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "I'm someone who knows what's good for Liam. And it's not you."
Emily's anger boiled over. "What's your problem?" she spat.
The girl took a step closer, her eyes blazing with hatred. "You're my problem. You're the one who's been flirting with Liam, trying to steal him away from me."
Emily's eyes widened in shock. "I'm not flirting with him!" she protested.
The girl laughed, a harsh, mocking sound. "Don't lie to me. I've seen the way you look at him. You think you're so much better than me, don't you?"
Emily felt a surge of indignation. "I don't think I'm better than you. I just think you're being ridiculous."
The girl's face twisted with rage. "You have no idea what you're dealing with. Liam is mine, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep him."
Emily's eyes locked onto the girl's, a fierce determination burning within her. "I'm not afraid of you," she said, her voice steady.
The girl sneered. "You should be."
Just then, Liam appeared out of nowhere, his eyes flashing with anger. "What's going on here?" he demanded.
The girl's face smoothed out, a sugary sweet smile spreading across her face. "Just having a little chat with Emily, Liam."
Liam's eyes narrowed. "About what?"
The girl batted her eyelashes. "Just girl talk, Liam. Don't worry about it."
Liam's gaze flicked to Emily, his eyes searching hers. Emily felt a jolt of electricity as their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.
Then Liam turned back to the girl, his voice cold. "Leave Emily alone, Rachel."
Rachel's face fell, her eyes flashing with anger. "Fine," she spat, turning on her heel and stalking off.
Liam turned to Emily, his eyes still burning with anger. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Emily nodded, still feeling shaken. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Liam's gaze lingered on hers, and for a moment, Emily felt like he could see right through her.
Then he turned and walked away, leaving Emily feeling confused and more than a little concerned.
As she watched him go, Emily couldn't help but wonder what had just happened. And what did Liam have to do with it?
